Synchronicity
I've said it before and I'll say it again - there is no such thing as a coincidence and today just proves it (yet again). Today also proved that like attracts like.
I attended the Mind Body Spirit festival last weekend with some of my mates. Through that, one of my friends decided to do this "wheel of fortune" thing at the adjoining Home Show. She landed on $100, and because she didn't own the place she currently had, she told the chick at the stand to talk to me. Essentially, this company used the Wheel of Fortune thing to get you talking about your mortgage and ways to reduce it. We arranged that I'd have a consultant chat to me about potential ways to reduce my mortgage today.
So I stay at home today waiting for the guy that was supposed to meet me to come. It turns out that he couldn't make it, so sent another guy instead. This guy seemed really nice, and was saying how his daughter also plays bass guitar (he spied my bass guitar). So we got down to business, and he basically said that the way these guys work is that they have a structure to reducing the amount of interest that you pay on your mortgage meaning that you can pay off the mortgage a lot quicker than usual. However, the main assumption was that you were going to to have a separate investment property, and unfortunately given my choice to change careers, I'm not in a position to obtain the benefit of this because I'm definitely not looking for an investment property at the moment.
When I told him about my choice to change careers, he commented on seeing my massage table but thinking that it belonged to someone else in the apartment. Then I started talking about money following you if you live your passion and how the law didn't fulfill me, etc and the funniest thing was that he completely understood where I was coming from. He also said that his daughter had said something along the same lines this morning, so I asked him what his passion was, and he said (being a typical New Zealander) coaching. I said "Why don't you do something about that?" and he said "I am. I've actually accepted a coaching role back in NZ"! So he completely understood the whole doing something that you're passionate about instead of doing something that just brings you money. He also told me the only reason he got into this was because he knew the owner through church, and the owner was giving away money in order to grow his business. Remember, in order to attract abundance you need to have a good balance of giving and receiving. The reason why the owner of this business is successful is because he gets that - he is giving away money (in fact, I received some of this money today) in order to just talk to people and "do a service to the people".
Well let me tell you this is exactly the message that I've been receiving from the angels for the last couple of months and to hear about this guy firmly cements this concept. If this business has the likes of the guy I met today working for him, then they're genuine about helping you and that's really good.
A lot of the "randoms" that I have chatted to lately all have this "changing careers for a purpose" connection with me. Again, this is the law of attraction at play. There is no coincidence that circumstances today meant that the guy I was supposed to meet couldn't make it so I met this guy instead.... and I have to admit, that is pretty damn cool!

Remember, life is a balance of giving and receiving. If you want more money come in, you have to give it away for good causes. For example, I've had to pay back a crap load of tax over the past couple of years because, whilst I did donate, it wasn't much. Last year, I decided to donate large sums of money and what happened? I got back some money this year whoohoo!!!
