Tapping into your spiritual guides
A lot of the conversations that I have had with my friends and my massage clients have been around the concept of angels and spiritual guides. Now, if you were to tell me a year ago that I would be working with angels and spiritual guides, I would have laughed in your face. However, now these "guys" are major factors and my assistants when it comes to healing others - in fact I don't think I'd be able to do much without their guidance! Isn't it funny how much things can change in a short amount of time?
So, who are they and can anyone contact them? Let's answer the second one first because that's easy and straight forward. Yes. Yes you can. I'll elaborate on how you can later.
As to the answer to first part of the question, it can get a bit complicated. There's different types of spirit guides. Some are the angels, family members (i.e. deceased family member, or someone from your ancestral heritage.. and by this I'm referring to not just your present life but from your past lives as well), ascended masters (those beings who used to live on the physical plane and have reached ascension so therefore assist everyone and the world/universe from afar), bodhisattvas (who I think are similar to ascended masters but instead of fully ascending they have decided to make it their mission to only ascend once humanity has ascended) and they could be "people" who just want to help you achieve whatever your soul wants to achieve this time around. Some guides stay with you for your entire "life" and others only come in to assist you at a certain point in time and then bugger off. Oh, you might also have animal spirit guides too.
What are some examples of these? Well I think the angels are pretty self explanatory. Everyone have at least one guardian angel. My guardian angel's name is Helen. Jesus is an example of an ascended master - I ask him to help me every single time I am healing someone because hey, if I can get one of the master healers of all time to help me, of course I'm going to make use of him! I also ask Hilarion (you might better know him as the Apostle Paul) - he's a pretty good healer too. Other ascended masters who have popped up during my meditations are El Morya, Saint Germain and Maha Chohan.
As for bodhisattva - the one I have a big affinity with (and who actually is a part of my spiritual team), is Kuan Yin. I'm sure there are others but I just don't know of them to tell you! Now you might even have someone like Albert Einstein as your guide (no kidding), Socrates, Hippocrates (I asked for him lol), etc. There's also the gods and goddesses.. so Hecate was one of mine (I'm not sure if she's still around.. she hasn't made herself known to me for a while). My grandmother (on my mum's side) is also another one who looks after me. My other guides are Laughing Bull (a native american Indian), Anastasia (not sure if she's an angel but she came through a week or so ago for the first time) and Omar (I get the feeling he's like some sort of tanned bald headed dude from the middle east... nope he's just corrected me and told me he's Egyptian lol). As for my animal spirit guide - I think mine is the owl.. although I have had a deer turn up in my meditation recently. SK tells me each person may have at least 20-30 guides... crazy huh!
So how can you contact them? It's pretty simple - ask. I found out about Helen, Omar and Anastasia by just asking. It's the first answer you receive. I knew about my grandmother and Kuan Yin through SK. You can also ask for whoever your guides are to show up when you meditate or dream. I find the more sensitive you become, you will be able to tell changes in air temperature or pressure or tingling sensations on your body - if you want to know who that is, again, just ask. Yesterday as I was meditating, I felt some cold air around my right fingers so I asked who it was. It was Archangel Raziel. At the time however I misheard that and thought it was Raguel (the names sound very similar you know). Later when I asked my tarot cards for guidance on who that was, Raziel popped up. Whoops!
Once you establish a connection with them then after that it's super easy to chat to them and you will know what works best for you. Sometimes it's as simple as having a conversation with them in your head (and no you are not crazy). Also, pay attention to how their energy feels. I'm still working on this part but I can tell the difference between Archangel Michael, Jesus, Archangel Raphael and Helen for example. So if you're curious about who you have on your team... you know what to do. Just ask and sit back and wait for the answer :D
