Knowing when you are on the right track
I don't know about you but for some reason the energies that I've been feeling this week are all around the theme of "change". For me the change is somewhat significant as I finished up as a full time employee and started as a sole-trader contractor on Friday. You kind of know that you're on the right track when everything just "falls into place" and I think this week a spiritual blogger wrote a post about "How you know you're on the right track" - i.e. the typical signs you get to show you that the Universe is cheering you on.
One of these signs is abundance - now abundance comes in many forms, so it's not necessarily monetary. It can be things like people offering to help you out, being able to easily discern the messages you are receiving etc. For me, I've had a number of people offering me any help they could to help me out on my career transition, people buying me lunches and coffees and being a recipient of some money (an EFTPOS card for which I wasn't really eligible but the guy gave it to me anyway hehehe). Previously, I had a lot of issues with receiving things. I would happily give things away - my time, my healing work, my friendship, money, etc but it used to be quite difficult for me to accept it in return. Now, it feels so nice and I am extremely grateful to receive offers of assistance from people because quite frankly, I deserve it (and so do you).
Another big sign that the Universe has your back is when you can notice synchronicities - and a LOT of them occur. Ages ago I wrote about how people just tend to come into your life and you have shared experiences, etc. This week was the same. I was around a lot of people who I don't normally hang around, and they were really interested and didn't bat an eyelid when I told them about the reasons for my career transition and what I am able to do now. Now it's not about boasting, and those who know me know that I am extremely passionate about the natural therapy/healing/spiritual side of things so when you ask me about it I light up and off I go talking about it. Anyway, one of the guys (wait.. two of them) were really interested in all that stuff so they were asking me a lot of questions and really appreciative of me trying to explain the things I knew in a logical sense. Similarly, I attended a function yesterday where I met a lot of my former workmates from 5 years ago and one of them might actually become one of my clients! <-- Holy crap as I said that I actually just received a booking request from him through my website for next Tuesday haha!!
At the same event, I was introduced to the payroll manager who I had never worked with, but upon introduction one of my former workmates made a weird comment. It was something along the lines of "and now we have two really good people who have met". With this lady we ended up having a similar conversation and she actually dragged me away to tell me that she had been looking for an energy healer that she could just click with for a long time and she took down my contact details and told me that she would definitely get in contact with me in the future.
It was getting late so I ended up getting an Uber to take me home. In the car, my driver was telling me she used to be a journalist but was now doing Uber full time to keep her cash flow whilst she was thinking about what she really wanted to do (I'm serious man.. you cannot make this stuff up). So then we started chatting and I told her what was happening with me and then we both found out that we're avid followers of Louise Hay and Doreen Virtue! LOL! Anyway, she was telling me about her start up idea and that she really wanted to do it so I was encouraging her and she then looked at me and said "You know, I'm going to give you my business card because I want to interview inspiring people once this start up is up and running and I think you would make a great story". Wow. So I took the card, told her I would contact her and yes we will see about that too!
If you start noticing these sorts of things and are grateful about it, more will come along - the law of attraction remember!
This week seriously has been great! I'm really excited about meeting my fellow students on Monday and seeing how this new change will work out. I hope you all have a great week coming up guys!
