Weekend of learning

I have just spent the weekend in Melbourne learning a new technique called Applied Neural Skeletal Movement. It is essentially a technique that can identify via muscle testing miscommunication between the brain and areas of the body. It was a great weekend, and it turns out that my fears about being the most inexperienced student in the room were baseless as the people turned out to be really nice, the content put us all the same page and it really made me realise that there are sooo many natural and complementary modalities out there that can be used to make people healthier and happier.

I was there with MM, and as always, MM was impressed the students and the lecturer with this knowledge. He seemed really excited about the new stuff, and we were practising the techniques on each other. We even managed to bypass a lot of the hands on swiping stuff by just "asking" the body - kinesiologists would understand this concept very well.

It was quite weird because everyone was kind of demonstrating their specialised technique on someone else (we have physios, PTs, massage therapists, a traditional Thai medicine healer, etc) and I kind of felt a bit left out because I really didn't know much (apart from boring Swedish massage). However, there was a point where MM was working on releasing a student's psoas, and all of a sudden I (once again) tapped into the student's craniosacral wave. MM mentioned to the people there that that was kind of what I did, and one of the physiotherapists started firing all these questions about me about how I could tap into the wave without seeing or touching the person, etc etc. I mean, at the end of the day it's like an energetic form of healing so that sort of stuff can be very difficult to explain to a person who works predominantly in biomechanics!

Anyways, the weekend once again showed that the Universe/Divine/God works in such weird ways to ensure that either you go to a particular course that you need to go on, or you meet people who can help you with where you currently are at. In chatting to MM about my third eye issues, he told me that now was the time that I had to go see a sports kinesiologist who he rates quite highly and could help me let go of a number of things in my past that are holding me back. What are they? I have NO idea but he's convinced I have some stuff there. Then, I have issues with grounding and there was one student who came to lunch with us yesterday and she's all about getting back to nature so she gave me her number so I could phone her so she could teach me how to figure out what my values are in order for me to get a bit of an idea about grounding and what I had to do next. I'm going to phone her this weekend.

The law of attraction was at work again when on Saturday night after dinner with a mate, I came back to the Airbnb place I was staying at and somehow myself and the Airbnb host got onto the topic of natural therapies, how the body holds emotions and stresses and if you don't release them it manifests itself physically, etc. I was tired but we have a pretty good 30 min convo or so. The next day I had to leave early so left her a msg about the good chat and she responded and asked me to let me know the next time I was down because she wanted to book a session with me! Haha!

Last night I also dreamt about big tidal waves but I somehow seemed to be unaffected by the water as it was rushing through the streets. I take that to mean that I'm undergoing some sort of spiritual change/transformation so I'm really excited to see what this week holds for me!
