Trying my hand at automatic writing
I hope you had a wonderful Xmas break and had a lovely time spending it with your loved ones. For me it was just eating and eating and I'm sure I gained a few kilos :P
For my family, we generally have a big Xmas eve feast and don't do much on Xmas itself. However this year, one of the Catholic priests (who's my dad's best friend) invited us down to his place for a Xmas lunch. There ended up being about 10 or so of us, my family, another family, the secretary and her two kids, a trainee priest, 2 students and 2 nuns. I've known the nuns for a number of years now... the first time I met them was were they came over to our family house years ago for a Xmas dinner that I had cooked. They're a bunch of great people with hilarious personalities.
What I was grateful for however was when I told the nuns I was changing careers and was telling them what I was doing from the energetic healing perspective, they got it. In fact, they started talking about chakras, and said that if I was ever to go to Vietnam, they wanted to introduce me to another Viet priest who is known to communicate with the angels and spirits and stuff! Whoa! It was such a surprise coming from them and one of them looked at me and said "When we studied theology as part of becoming a nun we had to learn all about this stuff! Just be careful of discerning the good spirits from the bad ones". Wow!
After that, I started to get the "urge" to try my hand at automatic writing. I kept thinking that I was going to try it the last couple of days but had time this morning to give it a shot. Obviously it's really important to have the right protections in place before attempting this sort of stuff, and so I said my prayers and sat down with the pen in my right hand, on my page and waited. Nothing happened. I could feel that the energies were around there but nothing was happening. I was disappointed and gave up.
Then a few minutes later, I decided to go upstairs to my room and try automatic writing with my left hand. Lo and behold, my pen started moving left! I didn't move my hand at all, rather, it was like something else was moving it, and in particular, the pen itself. I just kind of let whatever it was write/draw whatever but coming to the end of it I asked it to give me their initials or give me a name so I knew who it was. The "signature" of this spirit is on the right hand side - what do you think?

Just so you know - I write with my right hand and whilst this "doodle" was coming out, my left hand was going left, down, right, left, down, etc etc. I had no idea what my hand was doing! During some parts of it, I started to see auras around me as well... not too sure what that is but I've emailed SK so let's see what she says.
