Tapping into the Akashic Records
Ok I admit it, work has been a bit boring of late (not that I mind.... having some boring time is GREAT given the crazy year I've had), so I've been reading... reading lots of stuff.
I thought I'd do a quick post on the Akashic Records. I can't remember exactly when I stumbled upon this "concept", but it's essentially a record of your soul's life, journey, learnings, past, present and future (yes future). The future obviously is based on your current state, and can be changed depending on your choice. When I say record, it's not like it's written on a piece of paper, it's more of an "etheric" concept that anyone can tap into, at any given time, provided you have the right intent and that you following the right steps to open access to it (including ensuring that you are protected). Everyone has their record and you could potentially access other people's records too but ensure that you have obtained consent. The Akashic Records are apparently overseen by the Ascended Masters, higher beings, etc... and it is these beings who will generally oversee your access to it (including answering the questions that you have).
I started reading up on this yesterday during work, so I thought I would attempt to access my own Akashic Record in the evening. I had prepare a list of questions during the day (including whether I had any past life issues that were stopping me from moving forward with my life purpose this time around, what they were, what I was meant to be doing, etc). So I sat down, opened up the webpage which said what the Opening Prayer should be and followed the instructions. Apparently after doing this, you have to ask whether the Akashic Records are open, and if you get a "yes" as a response, then you ask the Ascended Masters to confirm they are open with a visual.
So I did that - I got the "yes" but didn't get the visual. No matter how I tried. However, my head was feeling so heavy and almost dizzy so I assumed they were opened and proceeded to go ahead and ask my questions. I ended up finding that I could ask yes or no questions but when I asked an open ended question, I had a lot of difficulty hearing the answer, even though I did ask them to amplify the transmission. So given that, I had to be a bit creative....
Over the past few days, I've realised that I can tap into my subconscious by using the energetic field around my hands. When I wake up and just lie there, a number of times I have felt a pulsing energy around my hands and I think the other day when I was meditating I ended up having an idea to test 'yes' or 'no' answers with my subconscious by relying on the energy field. For example, I had set the rule that if the answer was 'yes', the energetic field around my hand would be circular. For a 'no', the energetic field would be stagnant and not move. I decided to use a similar technique when asking the Ascended Master my questions - for 'yes' I asked that my thumb was moved to the right, for 'no', it was either still or moved to the left. By using this technique, I found out that one of my past life issues was related to my mother and my brother and that I needed to release this in order to move forward. I didn't have any issues with my dad.
Now for the most interesting part - I asked about what I was meant to do as part of my life purpose. I got the definite yes that I was to be a healer, but when I asked what type of healer, these words came into my head "metaphysical healer". Now let me tell you, I have NEVER heard of this sort of concept before - so I'm pretty much convinced that I heard the answer clearly when I asked the question. Obviously I closed the Akashic Records pretty soon after that and got onto Google to check out what "metaphysical healing" meant. I found that it essentially means that you can heal any physical ailment by positive thinking - the whole concept is based on the fact that negative thought patterns and stresses, etc, if not released, will manifest themselves as dis-ease in the body. It made COMPLETE sense to me given that I've been banging about this concept for the last couple of years. Who's a well known metaphysical healer? Louise Hay - her book "You can Heal your Life" was the first ever book I read about this whole concept and this was given to me by my PA at the time who told me I should see her chiropractor (which was the beginning of my journey into this whole field).
If you're open to this sort of thing, I suggest you try it. However, you need to be prepared to hear answers that you might not want to hear, and you need to have the right intent to do it. You won't be able to obtain access to the records if you don't have the intent to do good and use the information for the better good (generally to improve yourself).

I have a feeling I need to ground myself for a while before attempting to access my Akashic Record again - it's a pretty bizarre experience!
