The answer to my prayers

Wow - this last week has been pretty powerful for me in terms of manifesting and having my prayers answered.

As you know, last week I finally took heed of my "explore your options" message and got off my ass to see what other options I had in terms of my studies of the Diploma of Remedial Massage. This morning, I went to this new college to check it out. I had a really good chat with the careers guru and by the end of it, I had enrolled in the Diploma of Remedial Massage which starts on July 4!

Let's rewind to my original prayer around this aspect. I wanted the following:

  1. To get my qualification of the Diploma ASAP;
  2. I wanted it to be at the right price;
  3. I wanted it to start pretty soon (my Cert IV Massage Therapy finishes in May so I was wanting to start the Diploma this year);
  4. I wanted the Diploma to be recognised by all private health insurance providers;
  5. I wanted the full time study to be flexible enough so I could work at least 3 and a bit more days per week at my current job in order to keep the money coming in; and
  6. I want to work for the Sydney Swans in the future.
Now, this year, I had planned it to go out in this way:
  1. I would study the Diploma at the college that I was currently studying the Cert IV Massage Therapy course at;
  2. I would start the Diploma in June and this would go for 52 weeks full time so I'd be qualified by July 2017;
  3. I would have to do an extra module as part of the Diploma in order to be recognised by one of the main private health insurance providers in Australia;
  4. The Diploma would cost $10,000;
  5. Based on the current timetable, I was expecting to spend 4 days at the college and be working after hours at my current job; and
  6. I had absolutely no idea how I was going to work for the Swans.
Now, it shouldn't be a surprise that your prayers generally are not answered the way you EXPECT them to. Here's what happened to me:
  1. Over the weekend, I got a letter from my work telling me I had been awarded a bonus. Unexpected money - hooray! Mind you - the angels told me this was coming.
  2. When I went to the new college, I was told that their Diploma was approved by all private health insurance providers;
  3. The Diploma would start on 4 July 2016;
  4. My Diploma would have me qualified as a remedial massage therapist by the end of this year (YES, end of THIS year and not mid next year);
  5. The institute usually does not accept enrollments from people who haven't actually achieved the prerequisite qualification (ie. Cert IV Massage Therapy) but I got a special exemption from the coach;
  6. The Diploma intake is only limited to 16 people;
  7. My timetable was Wed and Thurs every week from 9am - 4pm which gives me 3 full days at my current job plus the flexibility that I can work another 6-7 hours after my studies on Wed/Thurs so I can get almost a 4 day work week in;
  8. Diploma cost was less than what I had budgeted and my bonus covers most of it (I just need to pay a little bit on top but I've now asked for the Universe to provide me with that money anyway hehehe) - oh and the career guru waived my $300 admin fee "because we had a really great chat"; and
  9. The institute has "career partners", one of which actually provides remedial massage services to the Sydney Swans!!!
HELLO?! You can't make this stuff up man! You have nooo idea how happy I am with how everything worked out - I mean, I will be a qualified remedial massage therapist at the end of this year! Not to mention the people at the institute seem so positive, so friendly and really motivated and that's the type of people I want to hang out with.

So the moral to the story is, if you want something, put it out there and be about what you want. Try not to set an expectation of HOW your prayer will be answered - just set it and then "let it go" (which btw was a lyric in a song that I've been playing in my head all day today haha and no it's not Frozen). Don't let your ego take over with the whole "But I don't deserve this" type of thing - at the end of the day, you do deserve it so go and grab it!

Happy manifesting peeps!

P.S. As a side note, I did make a mental thought a few months ago that I needed a new backpack because my one for the last couple of years is about to die. Guess what, the institute gave me a new backpack today too! Ha!
