A beautiful story about death
Happy Easter everyone! Over here in Australia it's Easter Saturday, and around this time we tend to focus on the death and resurrection of Jesus. Now this post won't be all religious-y - I merely wanted the topic of death and new life to be the topic of this blog post :)
If you're a follower of my blog, you would have known that a few posts back, a beautiful friend of mine had told me that she was pregnant. She was in the very early stages of the pregnancy so wasn't sure whether she would carry the baby through to full term given all of her complications but if she did, she was totally down for that.
Last week, she suffered a miscarriage. She later told me and my boyfriend the events leading up to the miscarriage, and I have to really commend her for being able to talk to us about it when the grief would still have been quite raw. However, her story is a really beautiful one, and I've been compelled to tell you about it.
My friend is an energy healer (amongst other things), so she is very in tune with her body. When I saw her at a football match last Friday, she was fine, she said the energy of her baby boy (she and my bf both felt the energy of the baby was masculine) was strong. On the Saturday, she began to feel that the energy was getting weaker. On Sunday, the voice in her head told her to get up and go to the hospital immediately, but she ignored it. A few minutes later she began to bleed, and could not feel the energy of her baby son at all.
Obviously that would leave her and her partner very upset. She could barely sleep and the next day needed to go back to the hospital for the D&C (a procedure I found out that essentially is one that "cleans up the uterus" so to speak). The night before this procedure, she meditated. During her meditation, she called upon the 12 pillars of light (a term we use in Seichim calling on the 12 main feminine archetypes) to assist her. She saw one of them holding a small shadow - which she knew was the soul of her baby boy. She felt immense love and support from them and knew that her baby's soul would be looked after. In addition to that, she felt 4 energies around her as well and asked for their names. It turned out they were her deceased grandparents - all there to support her and give her love in her time of grief.
After her meditation she felt a lot better - that she knew she had support and that everything would be ok. That night she dreamed, and a little boy came up to her in her dream. She knew that boy was her son - he apparently looked like a mix between her partner and her brother. He told her his name (something that she would not have thought to have named him btw) and was there to tell her goodbye, but winked her and said "But I'll see you again soon mum". When I heard that I had tears running down my face because that was sooo beautiful! The soul of her child had chosen to leave her body this time around as there would have been too many health complications, but he made it clear to her that he was going to be back, and when he came back, everything was going to be OK. Of course having this visitation gave her a lot of comfort - obviously the process of grieving is still important - but having the ability to be able to connect with souls is such a gift, and this gift for her at this point in time was one to give her reassurance.
As you can see, there is always a reason for death, but death isn't the end of things - it's about new beginnings and needs to be embraced. In truth once I realised that there was nothing to be feared of in death, it made me look at life in a different perspective. Your soul chooses when it will come to this physical plane, who will be it's mother and father, what your purpose is going to be this time around and when your soul will ultimately depart. So given that, go ahead in your life fearlessly, live the way that you want to live (preferably reducing the amount of harm you cause others if possible) and know that everything is the way that is should be.
Sending all of you guys light and love xx
