The Universe ALWAYS has your back

This week it seems like I'm on a roll with posts. Things are going incredibly fast, which is hilarious because the other week I was complaining about feeling stagnant and not going anywhere fast!

 So for this post, I wanted to say that even though we might be in a "rut", we always have to trust that the Universe has our back - even though we don't necessarily see how it has our back at this point in time.

 The messages I received from my guides and angels over the past week was "Don't give up hope right now because the answer to your prayers is just around the corner, even though you can't see it" and "Trust in Divine timing". Then this week, suddenly I felt an urgency to get things done - sort out my business name, sort out my finances, get my domain name, get my business name registered, announce to the world that it's time I started charging for my massages/healing sessions, etc.

 Today cemented the fact that the Universe does indeed have my back in a number of ways:

  • Today, my angel tarot card reading was "The Emperor" which is about taking leadership of my own path to make things happen - but obviously I had to do it in a very logical and realistic way.
  • I get an SMS from the college where I will be studying my Diploma of Remedial Massage asking if I was interested in getting a 10% discount on my course fee (HELL YEA... still waiting for a response back but hey, to me that's a sign).
  • I had no issues with the particular Gov department when I phoned them up today requesting that they move my ABN registration date forward and then no problems with registering my domain name with the new and cheaper registrar.
  • I get notification from the other registrar saying they'll refund my money (yay).
  • I had lunch with a dear friend of mine and she was saying how proud she was of me and where I was going - that boosted my confidence which was great.
  • I submitted my request to get ADSL2 in my apartment and my mate told me I didn't need a splitter so that saved me some $$.
  • I got a random phone call from a company whilst I was meditating tonight which eventually put me onto iSelect to talk about private health insurance. The guy I spoke to ended up being super nice, really listened to my needs and came up with the perfect package for my health insurance when I change to sole trader in a few months which is cheaper than what I had budgeted for AND allows me to claim my gym membership (NO WAY!!). To give you some context, my work currently pays for my private health insurance so I'm incredibly lucky. Once I am off the payroll, it's up to me to find my own insurance. I had been thinking about this on and off and I was pleasantly surprised when I decided to just go ahead and entertain the iSelect guy on the call today and the outcome was entirely in my favour!
  • I announced on FB today that I was going to start charging for my massages - I have received so much support and encouragement from my friends and I am so so grateful for that! In addition, I was worried that perhaps I shouldn't have announced it but when I did an online card reading, the message was "You're on the right path. Keep following our guidance" <-- Thanks Archangel Michael! Confidence boosted again.
  • Then I did another card reading asking about what other message the angels had for me at this point in time and the answer was "What do you want? Visualise it now". In reading the explanation, the part that hit home to me was "You might have thought things were stagnant in your life and ask us what to do next but the answer is that it's up to you to make a decision!". WHOOPS. 
So you can see that the messages from my angels and guides have come full circle :)

It pays to being open to receive

I would like this blog post to reiterate to you all the importance of being open to receive from the Universe, especially if you have asked the Universe for help. For me, the past week, I believe that this has been the main theme for me, especially as my reading from Angel Souls a few months back had advised me "to be open to suggestion" and to not be fixated on how I was going to achieve a certain outcome. Many of you know that I am a few weeks away from saying good bye to my law career and fully embracing my massage/healing career. For the months leading up to this stage, I was excited about what post-June would hold for me, but as I was coming into May, I was getting a lot more apprehensive about what I would be doing post-June as I hadn't really been proactively chasing any opportunities (and nothing really fell into my lap). Seeing the positives from the negatives - it's a question of perspective

Today was my second last time at the student massage clinic. Next week will be my last for the trimester, and then a welcomed "break" <-- Not really a break, I'm going to a 2 day course in Melbourne in the 2nd weekend of December to further my skills in other areas and intend to use the next 3 months to read up on Anatomy Trains and Esoteric Anatomy - books that MM gave me months ago and I've barely touched the surface on. Anyway, I had two clients back to back this morning. At the end of each massage session, we seek feedback from the client. My first one wasn't the most complimentary, the second one was fine. When my supervisor told me that I had unfavorable feedback from a client, I had that shiver down my spine that I had referred to before.
