Divine timing hits again

Over the past week or so I've been relatively impatient with life in terms of wanting to get stuff moving for my new career and my business.

Having now heeded the "impulses" to do certain things, I'm pretty proud of what I have achieved over the past 3 days:

  • Had a quick brainstorming session and came up with the name of my new business;
  • Did relevant searches to see whether the "finalist" business name was available for registration;
  • Registered my business name;
  • Applied to register my domain name;
  • Started a conversation with various people about finding people to design the logo of my business;
  • Started thinking about my website a bit more;
  • Figured out what broadband deal I am going to go with; and
  • Made the decision that future massage or healing sessions that I provide to my friends will be charged! No more "donations" or freebies!
Now let's look at the synchronicities that led me to get all of the above done in the space of 3 days:
  • I received a random Whatsapp text on Friday night from a ex-workmate. We got to messaging each other a bit over the past few days and he suggested that I do a brainstorming session to come up with the name of my business. I did that on Sunday.
  • I bounced the potential name around with some close friends of mine and the consensus was that they quite liked it and that it summed up what I wanted to do perfectly so I was gaining confidence in the name.
  • I applied to register my domain name on the same day as I registered the business name - my application to register the domain name was rejected so I was confused.
  • Received a phone call today from the company I was aiming to register the domain name with and let's just say after some frustrating call with a "customer service" officer, my application was rejected so I decided to ask for my money back.
  • The application was rejected because my ABN wasn't active. I had set it to be active from 1 July 2016. Now realising that I am trying to move the activation date forward and I don't think that should be a big issue.
  • I spoke to my mate about the domain name and he suggested I look at other registrars. Turns out there was a CHEAPER registrar so I'm going to go with them once the date changes :)
  • The same mate is also helping me in terms of my website and questions around hosting, giving me ideas about how I can find someone to design the logo for a good price, etc.
  • This SAME mate also helped give me some options on broadband packages. Whilst I'm not going to go with the company who he recommended, it made me realise that I didn't need an unlimited package so I can save money by going for a limit on the data download. The company I'm going to go with is funnily enough the one that another one of my friends has been telling me to go with over the past couple of days!
  • I had another friend come over tonight for a massage and she confirmed that she had used the same company I was planning to register my domain name with. She also got me thinking about how my finances would be ordered for the business (as she also owns a business and has had it for 3 years or so). She was also my first proper paying customer so I was so happy!! It was such a great catch up and I'm so happy for the direction her life is going!
  • I also healed 2 people at work today - their feedback gave me some great confidence that I can do this - although I think a lot of that was based on the fact I started to actually call on Jesus to help me out and he is so so so powerful!
So there you go - as the angels keep saying, it's all about Divine Timing. The right things will happen at the right time - if you try to force things something will happen which will say "er no you shouldn't be doing that" <-- case in point domain name fiasco!

Trust, let go and let God :)
