Ask and ye shall receive

Well things have been a bit of a whirlwind over the last week or so ever since I told my boss about my desire for a career change and his reaction being entirely supportive!

One of the things I have done is to have a little notebook that I call my "manifesto". It's nothing big and outlandish, it's just a notebook which is dedicated to one thing - manifesting what I want! Whenever I want something, I write it down in the manifesto and note the date. Then I sit back and observe what comes my way.

One thing in my manifesto is to have more people come to me who need the type of healing that I can provide, and that they pay for it in a way. I came up with the idea of having a healing kitty - i.e. I heal you, you donate however much you like. It can be big or small, I don't care... just the principle of giving and receiving ya know?

Well, over the past week I had been trying to "dream big" about where and what I could see myself doing in the future. One of the things that I had been thinking of was about trying to bring the spiritual aspect more into healing others - specifically sports people. I believe that you could perform at your optimum if you physically, mentally and spiritually in peak condition. Why? Your emotions and your way of thinking affects your actions and how you are physically. If I can help you achieve the balance of the "holy trinity" so to speak, then ideally you should be able to be the best athlete possible. Why did I choose to focus on sports? Because I want to have these people as role models for society, and for the generations to come. If I can show that elite sports people can have this, then it should be normal and easy for others to mimic it too. Why not?! Obviously after coming up with that sort of thinking I started to get super excited and then went back to my normal life of waiting to see what pops up.

So, let's see what has happened over the past 4 days:

  1. I got off my ass and randomly emailed these 2 healers who I had been guided to randomly email since Byron Bay;
  2. I set up my Healing Kitty at work;
  3. Received a wonderful note of encouragement from a friend of mine who I hadn't seen in YEARS, had a coffee with him and received 3 books to read - Quantum Touch, Conversations with God and Astral Travel;
  4. Tried to apply the Quantum Touch techniques  (with Diana tweaks because I just love tweaking stuff) on two people at work (which to my surprise it actually WORKED);
  5. Received one reply to my email which went along the lines of "Sorry I can't give you advice on setting up a business or what you should do but the best thing is to follow your intuition" <-- which is basically what the cards have been telling me for a long time;
  6. Received my prize from work and at that giving ceremony I announced to everyone that if they had any aches and pains and wanted it fixed to come and see me and I'd fix them for a donation;
  7. Received a random SMS from one of the guys from the property investment property (the first guy who came over to tell me about the concept and who I haven't seen for 4 months) asking if I was accepting paying clients. Ended up setting a date for him to come over for a massage;
  8. Told same investment guy about my ideal around introducing spirituality into sports teams and he completely was on board with my concept and then him telling me he was moving to NZ at the end of March to accept a position as head coach of a 7s team!!! Talk about opening a door!
  9. Having the head of the region at work come up to me and ask me to fix his elbow and being able to remove all of the pain (thanks AA Raphael)! He donated to my Healing Kitty!!
So there you have it - if you think that your prayers go unanswered, think again. But also be open to things happening in ways that you seriously did not expect it to.. and be grateful!
