March - the month of opportunities
I don't know about you but I feel that March is definitely a month of opportunities and good fortune - if only you're open enough to recognise it and welcome it coming into your life! For me personally March has been a month of introspection and personal growth as well... it's been hard work but worth it I believe.
For 2 of my friends this month has been a month of new beginnings. One of them finally quit the job that has been stressing them till no end, and another of them bit the bullet and is starting to build a small business baking delicious almond biscuits and hand and feet sculptures for children. The thing I love seeing (or hearing) is the excitement that they have when they are embarking on something new. It takes a strong person to make that stand and do what their heart says despite logic saying no. These two friends of mine have done it this month and it's great!
In addition to that, another friend of mine finally got accepted into the army reserves and she's super excited about that too - this is especially the case given that the concept of her working in the reserves has constantly been on her mind for a number of years. Again it goes to show that if there's an "idea" in your head that constantly repeats itself and you can't switch that nagging off, it's a sign that you SHOULD be doing it.
As for me, this month has been relatively busy in terms of the home business. I managed to get 4 clients in a week last week (that's a record as the most I have had was 2 people in a week), not to mention one of the clients was a 6 year old child. Mind you, I was somewhat freaking out and as she was so shy I didn't know if she liked the session but the feedback I received from her mother was really positive so I was really happy with that. In addition to that, I got my first gig massaging a professional sports team and also just completed my second corporate massage day where I had 8 clients. I was also fortunate to have a friend of mine (who I randomly met last year as she was my Uber driver when I was heading back from an event) who picked me up in her car after my corporate massage event to take me and all my gear home. As I don't have a car and I was a bit wary about paying the crazy taxi prices, I was really grateful that she would do that for me for free! Again - another score and another pat on the back from the Universe that it had my back (this was an idea that popped into my head a few weeks back but I procrastinated on it until I couldn't procrastinate any longer and ended up getting a pleasant surprise once I got off my ass lol).
Now, I have an opportunity to work for a massage clinic in the Eastern suburbs and also some more professional sports teams. I applied for a job last week and me being me, was somewhat fretting about why I hadn't received a response. Yesterday I was phoned up by the director of the place and we had a good chat. Suffice to say I might be able to shadow the massage therapists this weekend whilst they work on a professional sports team and I will meet the director for an interview on Monday. The clinic work is a place with allied health professionals and I hope that the culture of the place is what I want. So far it's ticking a number of criteria I had placed when I was manifesting so I believe I'll have a better idea when I head to the place on Monday and have my interview. Wish me luck guys but I'm excited!
This post is probably random and potentially sounding like I'm tooting my horn a bit but I want you to know that you WILL get what you ask for (or something better) and you just need to be patient. I had envisioned a certain way in which my life would go this year but it's going in a different direction. I've now learnt to be OK with this, and to be open with whatever the Universe throws my way. Hell, I know that the Universe has my back given that I am still constantly seeing 1111 or 12:12 everywhere not to mention a double rainbow!
Whether the stuff at the clinic ends up working out or not isn't really a concern for me right now as I'm beginning to trust in the Universe a lot more. I'm comfortable with the fact that whatever happens is meant to happen and in the meantime, trying not to sweat the small stuff!!
