Introduction to Angels

So you've heard me banging on about angels in previous posts so I thought I'd introduce you to some. Doreen Virtue has a really good explanation and introduction to the archangels on her website here, but I thought I'd let you know about the archangels from my perspective and experience.

First off, there are HEAPS of angels. I think there's an angel for almost anything you could possibly think of. However, the angels are generally grouped and arranged in a hierarchy and right at the top are those we know as archangels. They're pretty powerful beings, and you'll probably recognise a couple of their names - Michael, Raphael and Gabriel are the "famous" ones. They help everyone and it can be all at the same time! They're not constrained by certain "laws of science" like us, so archangel Michael can be working with me for example, but at exactly the same time, working with you, and both of us have completely unique experiences.

Here's my low down of them based on my experience - note that whilst I have never been able to see them (only their colours) nor hear them, I completely believe and know they are there are working with me:

• Archangel Michael: He's the archangel that I have the most affinity with - he works with me very closely, every single day. He's the archangel who will help you with your life purpose, whether it's to find out what it is, or if you know what it is (like me), pushing you along to ensure you get there. He also protects you from negativity and lower energies and can easily remove traces of past negative thinking - if you ask. He's fast-paced and no-nonsense, so if you ask him something, generally you'll get a response pretty quickly after that! For me, archangel Michael's colour is violet/dark purple. This is the colour I ALWAYS see whenever I close my eyes and concentrate. He's also a very great handyman to have around! I ask him to help me with electronics and also unlocking doors! For example, I was in Avignon and was struggling to unlock a particular door (for some reason myself and French doors just don't go together). I asked archangel Michael to help me and then almost instantly I heard a click and the door opened! Way to go archangel Michael!
• Archangel Raphael: He's the go to angel when it comes to healing - whether it's to actually physically or mentally heal you, or give you guidance when it comes to your path as a healer. To me, his colour is green. I see his colour not as often as archangel Michael's, but he's around when I ask him to be. He's healing powers are great! When I was in Berlin, it was my second day there and I spent the entire morning walking around. I got back home exhausted and it was only 5pm and as we know, Berlin barely ever sleeps and I wanted to try the "evening/night" life. My legs and hips were aching terribly and I was so tired but I asked archangel Raphael to help my fatigue and pain. I drifted off for a 30 min nap as I was asking and when I woke up, my body was as good as new and I spent the next 6 hours out and about! Oh and btw, archangel Raphael also oversees the safety of travellers so don't forget to ask him to protect you when you travel!
• Archangel Chamuel: Here's one that you might not recognise. To me archangel Chamuel is the go to angel when I've lost something and want to find it - big (e.g. finding your soulmate) or small, archangel Chamuel is the one to help you in this department. I have this habit that if I know I have white hairs, I generally will find them and pull them out. One day, I knew I had a white hair but had trouble finding it so I asked archangel Chamuel to help me. Lo and behold, all of a sudden I found not one, but 3-4 white hairs! It was like I instinctively knew where to search in my hair and there you go! Another time I had lost my frequent flyer baggage tag and couldn't find it so again I asked archangel Chamuel and suddenly I had the urge to lift the lid of my suitcase and there it was. Sounds funny yes but it worked for me!
• Archangel Jophiel: Archangel Jophiel is a lovely angel and she's about all things beauty - whether it's coming up with beautiful thoughts or making things beautiful. She's all about beautifying things. To me her colour is pink and she fleets in and out of my visions. I asked archangel Jophiel to help me organise my bathroom cabinet because, quite frankly, I'm terrible at making space for things in cupboards (trust me, my parents HATE that about me). Anyway, after asking her for help, I started the task and at the end of it, I was very impressed with myself and how much space I managed to make! Of course I could not have done that without archangel Jophiel's help!
• Archangel Jeremiel: He's the one to go to for help with clairvoyance so I ask him sometimes to help me develop my skills. He also performs life reviews - if you ask. Essentially a life review will involve flashbacks of certain experiences from your life in the hopes that you will take a learning from a particular experience that will help you move forward in the future. You should generally ask archangel Jeremiel to conduct a life review before you go to sleep - when I did this that night I dreamt and did have a number of flashbacks. I can't remember them now but I do remember waking up and thinking it was a pretty profound experience!

So they're the archangels that I closely identify with and work with quite often. Remember however that everyone of us has a guardian angel too - the guardian angel is unique to you - you don't share your guardian angel with someone else. The guardian angel chose your soul and will always look after and protect it. You can call on your guardian angel at any time and it's very easy to know their name - just ask! It's generally the first name that comes into your head. The name of my guardian angel is a pretty mainstream one, but whenever I think about her I get this incredible sense of calmness and love and it's great. Truth be told though, I sometimes forget about her because I'm always conversing with the above archangels! Sorry guardian angel! Btw, just because you're female doesn't mean your guardian angel is female or vice versa. I know someone who is female and her guardian angel is a male.

Oh, and before I forget, remember there is a universal rule about the freedom for you to make your own choices. So given that, the angels aren't able to help you if you don't ask them to! They're always there, wanting to help but can't until you ask them. Try it!
