Acknowledging when to let go

I'm trying out a new style to the blog today and I hope you like it! Today I wanted to talk to you about letting go of certain ideas that hit an obstacle, and allowing for the Universe to provide you with something better. Yesterday one of my beautiful friends decided to pull an angel card for me and sent me a message in the morning with the card reading. It was from the Guardian Angels Tarot Deck by Doreen Virtue. The card was "Five of Thought" which was essentially " an idea that you thought was a good one has now faced a challenge but don't worry about it because something better will present itself which will be better for you in the long run ". When I received this card I was slightly confused about what idea the angels were trying to tell me. So after an hour or so of pondering, I thought that perhaps the topic of this card was my idea of launching a corporate massage offering. This was later confirmed when the same friend told me she thought it wa...

March - the month of opportunities

I don't know about you but I feel that March is definitely a month of opportunities and good fortune - if only you're open enough to recognise it and welcome it coming into your life! For me personally March has been a month of introspection and personal growth as well... it's been hard work but worth it I believe. For 2 of my friends this month has been a month of new beginnings. One of them finally quit the job that has been stressing them till no end, and another of them bit the bullet and is starting to build a small business baking delicious almond biscuits and hand and feet sculptures for children. The thing I love seeing (or hearing) is the excitement that they have when they are embarking on something new. It takes a strong person to make that stand and do what their heart says despite logic saying no. These two friends of mine have done it this month and it's great! In addition to that, another friend of mine finally got accepted into the army reserves and ...

The Grace Method

As part of my Diploma of Energy Healing, I am required to have a mentoring session with one of the teachers once a term. I completely forgot about this requirement but was reminded about it last week so I booked one in today. I had no idea what the mentoring session was going to be like. I wasn't sure if it was going to be one of those mentor-mentee relationships where I would tell my mentor what my ultimate goal is and then we would sit down and flesh out action steps that I had to do to achieve that dream. Boy was I wrong. The session was essentially one where we were going to look at any of my beliefs that were potentially holding me back. Usually it would be to focus on a belief about moving down the energetic healing path for example, but today the thing at the forefront of my mind was the relationship I have with my parents - rather, the fact that I still felt judged for choosing to stop going to church and in essence not being the "devout Catholic". My mentor e...

Solfeggio frequencies

Over the last week I've been listening to music that is based on the solfeggio frequencies. Of a number of people that I follow on various social media, there is one particular lightworker who I have a real affinity with as I like the way she sends her messages out to the world, not to mention she is a really bubbly person. Her name is Michelle Pederson, better known as Angel Souls. Her messages this year seem to be pretty profound and there seems to be a real urgency for people to move into the new age, get rid of the programming and really start challenging things. One of the things she's been saying is to pay attention to the music that we're listening to. She has a good point - a lot of the hits these days are about cheating on someone, the sexualisation of things, etc. The lyrics actually are downright disgusting. So what should we be listening to that will actually help us raise our own frequencies as opposed to lowering it? There's a couple of things that I l...

A step towards the dream

Last night I achieved a step closer to my end goal of being a holistic wellness coach of a professional sports team when I went with my bf (thank you to my wonderful bf) to massage a professional rugby league team.  The opportunity came up pretty randomly. My bf currently massages for this team casually as part of one his many jobs and the team is my bf's favorite team. His boss is actually my friend - a woman that I met last year when I was doing my first craniosacral therapy course. She's got a brilliant and kind soul - a real affable person who is business oriented but you can see she also cares a lot - not only about her staff members but also about the players and actually, just everyone in general. She does A LOT and she's 8 months pregnant! Last night she was still massaging players and standing on the massage table and stuff like that! She's definitely an inspiration for me! But sorry I digress - so my bf asked me if I was interested to come and massage as t...
