Introduction to Angels

So you've heard me banging on about angels in previous posts so I thought I'd introduce you to some. Doreen Virtue has a really good explanation and introduction to the archangels on her website here , but I thought I'd let you know about the archangels from my perspective and experience. First off, there are HEAPS of angels. I think there's an angel for almost anything you could possibly think of. However, the angels are generally grouped and arranged in a hierarchy and right at the top are those we know as archangels. They're pretty powerful beings, and you'll probably recognise a couple of their names - Michael, Raphael and Gabriel are the "famous" ones. They help everyone and it can be all at the same time! They're not constrained by certain "laws of science" like us, so archangel Michael can be working with me for example, but at exactly the same time, working with you, and both of us have completely unique experiences. Here'...

Are you receiving messages?

As you can tell from my other posts, I believe that there is something out there which is beyond the "world" as we know it to be. As I started communicating with the angels, I began to realise that a LOT of things that I had dismissed as not meaning anything actually were messages from the "higher" world, and in fact, each one of us has the ability to hear these messages - if only we took the time out of our busy schedule to actually listen to it! Children are born into this world without filters - so imagine a baby seeing all of these colours, these shapes, these 'people', hearing all of these bizarre and wonderful sounds without having any idea what it is. As the child grows, they start to "filter" what is what, and obviously depending on the environment in which they grow up, they might "shut off" from things that seemed normal to them as a child, but the adults say are weird. Psychic ability is one of them. Have you ever noticed w...

My spiritual path

So now you know the events that led me to make the big decision to change my careers and become a healer. Now let's look at my spiritual path - by the end of it you'll probably see how this all relates. My spiritual path As I said previously, I was born and raised a Catholic. For the most part, I believe in a lot of the teachings of the church. However I do have fundamental issues with its view on certain issues. E.g. its stance on homosexuality. What ever happened to "treat thy neighbour as thyself"? Hypocritical. Let's not even mention pedophilia. No to euthanasia? If the person made the choice, it's their choice. That's the law of freedom of choice isn't it? The church was all about looking after the poor and downtrodden. So why did the leaders of the church live such lavish lives?! Anyway, there was a time in Uni where I was really questioning my religion. At that time I had met a fellow student who recommended that I read a certain book...

Looking back

I think it's pretty fair to say that over this year I have experienced a high-speed spiritual journey. It goes to show that everything that happens to you happens for a certain reason - you won't understand why at that point in time, but generally it is revealed to you later and you turn back and say "wow"! My path to being a healer In my previous post, I hinted at being interested in health when I was in school, yet chose the legal path. Here's a couple of things that happened in my life that all pointed to me eventually getting to where I am now: In Year 10 at high school, most of us needed to get some work experience that was set up by the school. At that stage, I wanted to be a physiotherapist so that was where I did my work experience.  It was only when I was in Year 11 did I think I'd go and become a lawyer instead? Why? Partly to appease my parents in terms of going for a job that apparently made lots of money, partly because I became enamoure...

The start of my journey as a light worker

The beginning of something new Welcome to my new blog! I'm a 30 something year of woman who is currently undergoing a major transition in my life and so I thought I'd chronicle my journey as a boring lawyer to a light worker. What the heck is a light worker do you ask? Let me tell you, but before I answer that question, let me give you some background on myself to put this blog into context. A bit about me... For the last 30 something years, my journey had been something pretty mundane and unspectacular. I went to high school, graduated from University with a law degree and then broke out into the real world - i.e got a real job and moved out of home. My first job out of Uni wasn't actually a legal job, but it was close enough, and it was definitely a stepping stone to my next job which was smack bang in the law. So from my number of years in the law, I: Worked in house and enjoyed the normal 9-5 working hours and the perks (travel, work parties and dinners with ...
